Miller is using NAB 2008 to release two new accessories available for camera operators.

Offsetting the Load!
Miller has released an Offset Adaptor Plate which can change the position that the camera mounts to the tripod plate and assist to achieve more optimum balancing for your camera payload. Whether a teleprompter or large lens on the front or additional batteries or hard disks mounted off the rear of the payload or any other offset configuration is used the Miller Offset Adaptor plate is essential to balancing your offset payload on the tripod.

With options to use it with standard ¼” or 3/8” camera screws or mini DV Adaptor Carriage the Offset Adaptor Plate can be used with a wide range of cameras and tripod systems to achieve the best mounting to your fluid head and effectively counterbalancing your camera payload for the best performance.

Solopod gets Speedy Running Release!
The new Solopod quick release adaptor plate, adds another user friendly function to the popular monopod system from Miller. The Solopod has all the great features of the Solo tripod range in a single leg system and now can also offer a quick release camera plate system that fits to the standard ¼” and 3/8” screw fitting on the Solopod. Now you can switch your camera from your Solo Tripod system to the Solopod within seconds!
