Compass fluid head series previous awards include TV Technology STAR Award NAB 2009, Australian International Design Award 2010 and Best of Show Vidy Awards NAB 2011. The multi-award winning Compass 25 fluid head has once again proved its innovative advancement
in video productions. Featuring a wide camera payload range up to 14 kg (30 lbs), 5 fast repeatable pan - tilt drag positions, 4 selectable tuned counterbalance positions, illuminated bubble level, 100 mm ball levelling in a lightweight and compact design. Miller Compass 25 product user, Carl Mrozek reflected ‘The panning movement it provided was slow and smooth, even at the mid-level "3" setting. Also, there was no additional "bump" at the end of a pan, as I often experience when using smaller heads. It was a pleasant surprise to experience this repeatedly, even after trying some sudden "whip pans." Carl continued “The system functions as a well-integrated entity and can be fully deployed and broken down for transport very quickly, the head is ruggedly constructed and is well suited for ENG, EFP and other applications.”
