COMPASS 25, 100MM FLUID HEAD FROM MILLER
 The Compass premium fluid head range will now include a new Compass 25 Model with 100mm ball-levelling to suit camera payloads from 4 to 14kgs (8 to 30lbs) incorporating a standard size Euro camera plate. The Compass range has proved to be a perfect match for the latest XDCAM, P2HD and highly-accessorised DSLR cameras. The new Compass 25’s versatility allows for a wider range of cameras up to and including lightweight ENG cameras. The Compass 25 fluid head has a selectable 4-14kg (8-30lbs) payload range which provides for a variety of camera configurations to be used with Miller’s lightweight and compact tripods systems. The Compass 25 incorporates 5 settings of pan and tilt fluid drag combined with a four-position selectable counterbalance system. A quick release camera mounting system utilising the standard Euro camera plate, common to the Arrow range of fluid heads allows the Compass 25 Fluid Head to integrate easily into existing camera support inventories.
A variety of system packages are available, from the ultra-versatile 3-stage Solo ENG tripod to the ultimate in quick deployment, the Sprinter 2-stage carbon fibre tripod; there are system packages to suit a wide range of applications.

To meet the setup demands of today’s highly accessorised DSLR, video, film-ready HDV, ENG and lightweight EFP and Studio cameras, Miller engineers brought to the market an accessory mounting bracket to allow the user to side mount camera accessories (monitors, lights etc.) up to 3kg (6.6 lbs) to all Compass and Arrow fluid head range. The beauty of the smartly designed mounting block improves the camera’s Centre of Gravity, therefore, improving performance.
Matched with an Accessory Adaptor with standard ¼” & 3/8” tap holes, a static position is achieved for mounted accessories such as monitors to stay in sight of user whilst panning.
SOLOPOD QR ADAPTOR PLATE (1213) FOR COMPASS FLUID HEADS .jpg) Miller Camera Support has introduced a new adaptor plate containing a quick release mechanism that allows camera operators to switch from their Compass fluid head to the Solopod (311) reducing setup times.The Solopod QR Adaptor Plate features include a payload capacity of 10kg (22Ibs) with 70mm sliding plate travel.
