Smooth and stable support for Sony's HD roadshow
Using the same theme of NAB08-HDNA, Sony Australia's Broadcast and Production division started their road show around Australia in May. The first stop was in Brisbane, then Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide. The tour will finish in Canberra in July.
As its named "Genetically advanced technology", Sony is showing the both high-end and low-end professional cameras as well as other video, audio and media gears showing the latest HD production technology. In addition to this, seminars and presentations are also held during the event demonstrating a simple marketing theory – how products can meet their customers' needs.
Miller took this opportunity to show their full ranges of camera support systems from wide payload DS range to the latest precise Arrow series. They will support cameras from PDW-EX1 and PDW-700, HVR-Z7 and HVR-S270P, all the way to the CineAlta flagship F23.
Like precise cameras contributing to picky HD images, smooth and stable camera support system is also playing a vital role, as even the slightest movement will be detected straight away in HD imaging world. Miller's true fluid heads and tripods are built exactly for this kind of support system, along with various tripod choices to suit all the shooting applications.
