#   David Brill - SOLO support for The Man Who Saw too Much  |  Australia
The acclaimed international news and documentary cinematographer, David Brill, never thought he'd get over the premature demise of his Miller wooden legs, bought in 1966, and the tragic victim of a revolving door amputation at the tender age of 17.

#   PNG epidemic revisited in new KURU documentary  |  Australia
Sorcery, cannibalism and scientific discovery merge in KURU, an independent documentary shot by cinematographer Rob Bygott and Producer Ben Alpers against the backdrop of the breath-taking Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. And Miller's SOLO tripod was there to help capture the action.

#   Dealing with Burma's Devil   |  Burma
Ginny Stein's role as freelancer and video journalist for SBS Australia's Dateline current affairs program, pushes the limits of job diversity. Armed with her PD150, Miller DS10 fluid head, SOLO tripod, Ginny tackles hard news where it happens in the jungles and cities of SE-Asia and Indochine, often venturing deep into enemy territory to get the real story.

#   Journo finds Solo support on lone journeys.   |  Australia
Thom Cookes is an award-winning journalist for Dateline- SBS TV Australia's international current affairs program. Like many of Dateline's journalists, he is often a one-man location crew -reporter, producer, camera operator and sound recordist, all rolled into one.

#   Meet Cockroach Productions - The Orangutan Film Protection Project  |  Indonesia
Their first project as an independent company is very exciting. Having conducted interviews in Sydney with global palm oil traders, they are about to head off into the jungles of Indonesian Borneo to film at an orangutan rescue centre, covering the relocation of orangutans that have been left without habitat following the encroachment on pristine rainforest by palm oil plantations.

#   Epic Surfing Adventure ruled by diversity!  |  Australia
At the beginning of June, Miller's Heidi Tobin caught up with the diverse Scott Needham from SNP about his latest surfing epic that was filmed in Sumatra. Scott uses the Miller DS10 Solo System and mounts a variety of cameras as he shoots both stills and video while on assignment.

#   Orangutan Film Protection Project - Jakarta, Java, Indonesia  |  Indonesia
Our first footage was a disturbing undercover operation to document exploitation of orangutans in the circus. We managed to film both the performance and gain access to the backstage area to find how the orangutans were housed when not performing.

#   Fluid works for Fashionista!  |  Australia
Clive Souness, proprietor, cameraman, stills photographer, editor, marketing, crew leader and creative brainwave behind the event covering media team of Kahuna Digital after crossing paths by chance prior to the Sydney fashion Week, a very high profile event held earlier this year in Australia, Miller’s Heidi Tobin took some time out of Clive’s busy schedule to get to know the life involved into making the small business work out of big business events!

#   Grueling temps for Polar Glimpses  |  USA
I have been on the road filming in the Arctic and Nebraska. We tried to catch up with a Polar bear in temps as low as -70 below zero. The Solo DV system went through hell and back under the most grueling conditions I have ever filmed in throughout the world

#   Solo tripod aids project  |  Sierra Leone
This lightweight, compact system enabled us to maintain a low profile and travel through airports and corrupt areas surreptitiously. Unfortunately, when it came to filming on location it didn't make us any less of a spectacle! Often entire villages turned out to laugh hysterically at our calls of "one more time!"

#   Nott Perishes in the Fast and Fun Snow Sport Action  |  Australia
Being a keen skier, cinematographer, Wesley Nott was able to combine two passions in one. Shooting snow sports is a unique challenge for a cameraman, particularly on a sunny day when everything around is white and bright.

#   Solo Supports Eco-Explorer’s Research On Sub-Antarctic Island  |  Macquarie Island
Dr Dean Miller is currently stationed in Macquarie Island, researching the fur seal colonies self-producing and shooting a documentary of his experience on the very cold and remote Island. Dean’s tripod has been there to support the image capture of the eco-explorer’s experience…
