#   Compass 20 System Navigates the Wolf Debate  |  USA
Well let me start out by saying this wasn’t the first Miller Camera support I’ve used to harness smooth worry free operation. I have been fortunate enough to follow my dreams filming unique subject matter and destinations from the Great Moyowosi swamp in Western Tanzania to the Prince of Whales straight in the unforgiving Arctic. I’ve improvised using Miller’s carbon fiber legs with the retractable spikes to climb icebergs, avalanche chutes and raging rivers. Their support systems have yet to let me down in the heat of battle. So when Miller offered me a chance to demo their new Compass 20 system on the controversial wolf issue out West I figured it was what I refer to as a “no-brainer”.

#   Mobile & Lightweight: DSLR Shooting for Web Promos  |  UK
Once in a while, there are jobs which simply tick all the boxes for a DoP: tell interesting stories, in extraordinary places, with fascinating people… And make 'pretty' pictures to boot! In 2010 I was offered one of those. It was a series of promotional films for Vodafone's online Power to You campaign. They would be testimonial documentaries from seven countries, illustrating how mobile technologies had helped customers for the better.

#   DSLR Revolution  |  Australia
A revolution has occurred in the use of a hybrid still/video cameras (HDSLR’s) making it possible to record high quality 1080 HD footage shooting with large variety of 35mm lenses. We're now able to shoot jaw-dropping filmic sequences with shallow depth of field and low-light performance due to the high-quality, wide-aperture lenses used.
