Award Winner shoots Terrorist

Gary Hanney of BCTV (pictured) is the only news cameraman in Canada to receive the "Canadian Association of Broadcasters Distinguished Service Award" - and he soon proved his worthiness as a winner.

Gary HanneyA recent assignment which made worldwide headlines involved propsed terrorist activities in Seattle, when an internationalist terrorist was caught by customs trying to cross the border into the U.S. with nearly 50kg of nitroglycerin - just before New Year 2000 festivities. Gary captured it all with steady support from his Arrow 50 system.

Miller Canada President Roger Rajotte also reports that Baton Broadcasting (the CTV national network) has upgraded its support to Arrow single stage carbon fibre systems; ATV in Halifax has also purchased Miller Arrow systems along with City TV in Toronto, the originators of Much Music, Space Channel, Bravo! and City-Pulse.
