School's in for world's first HD
After two years customer trialling and product development, Svend Holmberg from Miller's Danish Distributor, Holmberg Consult recently delivered the world's first HD tripod systems to the prestigious Danish Film School.
The film school received international kudos recently when former student camera operators shot the winning Golden Palm award film at France's Cannes Film Festival. The first 3 sets of carbon fibre 2-Stage tripods with Arrow 50 fluid heads have been put into action after testing by Knud Kjeldgaard, technical manager at the Film School, shown here putting his Miller system through its paces.
According to Svend Holmberg, the School is delighted with the Arrow/HD systems and sees them as the ideal platform for launching students into the world of film and high end video production. The decision by Danish Film School follows in a local tradition, where Danmarks Radio was amongst the first users of the Arrow 50 fluid head when it was launched in 1998.
