Since 2002, with sleep in short supply, talented young people aged 12-24 raced against the clock.

Their mission to create an imaginative and innovative short 7 minute film in a 24 hour period which must include special items, dialogue and locations that are only revealed at the beginning of the 24 hours.

ACS Paul Nichola with Bob Miller Technical & Innovation Achievement Award

Director, cinematographer and camera developer Paul Nichola was recently presented with the Bob Miller - ACS Technical & Innovation Achievement Award at the 46th 2017 Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) National Awards for Cinematography. The award, sponsored by Miller Camera Support Equipment, recognizes Nichola’s development of the 360 x 60 High Dynamic Range (HDR) Panoramic Camera System.

“It is an honor that the panoramic camera system I created has been recognized for the Bob Miller - ACS Technical & Innovation Achievement Award,” says Nichola. “Innovation is a passion of mine and it is great to see this has not only reached the ACS stage, but has also contributed to safeguarding some of China’s culture.”

Steven Howard named as Global Product Manager

Miller Camera Support is pleased to announce that it has named Steven Howard as product manager for Miller’s global offerings.</p>

In his new role, Howard will manage the product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, as well as analyze new markets and competitive conditions by laying out a product vision for Miller. Additionally, Howard will conduct market research to identify customer needs and plan new product development with Miller’s engineering, design, sales and marketing teams.</p>

My RØDE Reel” returns for its fourth year in 2017

Miller Camera Support is very excited to once again be a key sponsor. With close to 8,000 video submissions from 89 countries, “My RØDE Reel” has not only become the world’s largest short film competition, but has also established itself as a staple amongst the global filmmaking community. Designed to meet the stringent and rigorous standards presented by challenging environments and condition of Outside Broadcast (OB), the Skyline 90 supports payloads of up to 165 lbs. (75 kg.) and features robust, heavy duty construction.
