While the heads comes ready to use in a cinematic mode on a 100mm tripod, there may be times when some other configurations are required, for example sturdier legs is may be desired. In this case the 100mm claw-ball can be replaced with a 150mm claw-ball or a Mitchell base adaptor. It can be also mounted as a flat base directly onto a slider by removing the claw-ball altogether and the pan handles can be replaced with a different type from a wide selection of pan handles from Miller.
